2 lessons learned from yesterday US elections:
The Donald: life is long and not so linear. There is no one right path to achieve your end goals. If you are determined and the odds turn on your side at the right time you can eventually make it, against all predictions. The past won’t matter. The bullshit you have said or done won’t matter. Only what you represent in that exact moment will.
The Hillary: you might have worked a lifetime to get that job. But more important than hard work there is sensitivity to the historical momentum. The most difficult choice in a lifetime might be the exact moment when you are about to run your most important race, but you realize you are not the most appropriate runner anymore (and perhaps you have never been). In that exact moment, don’t be selfish. Put your vision ahead your ego. Step back and let someone else be the front man. His victory will be the daughter of both your hard work and your selfless renounce.
